Missions and Evangelism Community

Missions & Evangelism Community

Mission Statement

Whereas the church grows broader through missions, and larger through evangelism, the Missions and Evangelism Community exists to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ by meeting the needs of a hurting humanity. Ultimately, our goal is to win souls for Christ and provide hope in Jesus to everyone we meet.

Approaches To Ministry

We invite individuals locally, nationally and globally to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior while partnering with organizations to help them achieve their self-identified goals. We assist these individuals and organizations by providing basic needs (food, clean water, clothing and shelter), as well as, manual labor and/or financial support. In doing this work, opportunities arise for Enon members of all ages to exercise their spiritual gifts through participation in short and long term missionary service and evangelism outreach efforts.
We also provide a safe environment for the youth of Enon and the community to grow and develop spiritually and ethically while participating in athletics and service projects.

Primary Scriptures (KJV)

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Matthew 25:31-40 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
