Roadmap




As with any travel plan, one should always have a roadmap to provide guidance and direction.  Simply moving with no purpose or direction doesn’t get us very far.  We encourage you reflect on these seven “Purpose Points” to help you define your personal roadmap leading to a destination of victory!

Scripture for Reflection:

"Be careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish,, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk, on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead be filled with the Spirit.” Ephesians 5:18

  

As an Individual I will ask God to…

  • Allow a greater filling of the Holy Spirit as the 'Shift' in my relationship in Christ grows
  • Help me to develop a hunger and thirst for the things of Him
  • Instill in me a personal revival of prayer and service
  • Give me purpose and commitment to honor His Temple
  • Purpose in my spirit the study and application of His Word

As a Family we will ask God to…
  • Help our family devote more time to fellowship as a unit
  • Reveal His vision for our family through prayer and fasting
  • Help our family to love, appreciate, respect and value one another
  • Strengthen the bonds of matrimony between husband and wife
  • Help our family to instill value and compassion in our children, ever increasing in the knowledge and understanding of Christ

Scripture for Reflection
"He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly." Acts 10:2

As a Church Family we will ask God to...
  • A maturing of Enon for a greater flow of the Holy Spirit
  • Our human and financial resources within the church
  • Cohesiveness among our leaders
  • Better relationships among those in ministry
  • Our congregation and visitors would have a God encounter when on our campus

Scripture for Reflection
'Then Jesus came near and said to them, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20'

As a Community we will ask God to:
  • Reveal to us our "Cause/Fight" for our community with purpose to fulfill His will in accordance with His Word
  • Allow us to inspire and respond to the needs of our community through civil action and awareness
  • Instill in us a spirit of good stewardship of this "Earthly" home the Lord has given us
  • Give us guidance as we educate, nurture, prepare and protect our children for their  future of promise and abundant life
  • Live God's greatest command, "Treat thy neighbor as thyself" as we pray for the eradication of violence in our community

Scripture for Reflection
'You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. You are the light of the world-like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father' Matthew 5:13-16
